Background: Vak Lako was a male Trandoshan criminal who lived during the Republic Era and was a member of the Duros criminal Lazlo’s gang. After Lazlo’s death, Lako continued to serve Lazlo’s successor, Cad Bane. Lako met with fellow gang member Tay Grutty at a spaceport, where they waited for Bane’s shuttle while Grutty looked for Bane’s girlfriend Arin. However, they found out she married Niro, Bane’s former friend and the current marshal. When Bane arrived Lako gave his boss his hat. Lako used a blaster rifle to shoot from above but was shot down by police droids.
